I firstly want to thank everyone for taking the time to read this profile.
It has been a year since the Covid19 pandemic started and it has taken so many innocent lives, young and old. If you or anyone close to you has lost a loved one my deepest condolences,
I started this funding campaign for my older sister Nangula who has been wheelchair confined since she was three years old. She has a disability which affects her speech and muscles. It makes it very difficult for her to effectively communicate with others and to walk.
My sister definitely has a heart of gold and always has a cheerful smile on her face. She sadly was not able to complete high school since the school could no longer accommodate her. That shattered her completely. After 5 years of just being home she got a chance to acquire a small business entrepreneurship diploma. Although many don't see it as much, it is a great achievement for her.
Nangulas is able to stand with the aid of someone or something but her health is sadly becoming worse by the day. Her muscles are becoming stiffer and moving is an even greater struggle. Our family does not know what her diagnosis is because there is no specialist who is able to diagnose her in our country. My father is unemployed due to heath reasons and my mothers salary as a domestic worker will not be able to cover all the costs. All funds that will be received will go into getting her a medical professional (One from overseas) that will be able to diagnose her and hopefully start her journey to being fully gaining mobility and independence.
Nangula biggest dream is to be able to walk, and I truly believe that it is possible. LETS MAKE HER DREAM POSSIBLE.
