Nanay Clarita’s Breast Cancer Battle

Mother Clarita Gongon Macawile is diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer (that already metastasized to her lungs and bones) and Pneumonia on both lungs. She is currently hospitalized in the Philippines and has been in the ICU for almost a month already.

Mother Clarita only owns Sari-Sari Store (small store that incomes $5 dollars per day) and now she’s fighting her battle against cancer that requires a lot of money for hospitalization.

Her family is already struggling to raise the money needed for her hospital bill. They already put in all their time and effort just to raise the money for her hospital bill, but unfortunately, it’s still not enough.

They have to pay $400 (Php20,000) per day for ventilator machine usage only, and additional $400 per day for the medications.
