HELPING MYLES FINISH THE RACE AT DAVIDSON ACADEMY

My only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24b -“

My son Myles J. Jarmon is a student at Davidson Academy, in Nashville Tennessee, since the 3rd grade. Davidson Academy (www.davidsonacademy.com) is a fully accredited education institution whose mission “is to prepare students for college, life, and eternity.”

"Davidson Academy is an interdenominational, college-preparatory school serving students age three through 12th grade. The school maintains a distinctly Christian environment free of denominational bias in which students and faculty/staff can learn and grow as they strive to fulfill God's will. In addition to rigorous academics, students have opportunities to participate in athletics, arts programs, mission trips, and service activities, all while challenging their minds, bodies, and spirits to use their talents and gifts for the glory of God."

Myles has been blessed with this incredible holistic learning environment for the past seven years as he maintained a 3.8 G.P.A each year. As an honor student, he is recognized each year for academic achievement and was chosen in 2012 to become a part of the Student Honor Society. He is optimistic and plans to enroll at the University of Florida in the Pre-Med program following graduation. I am so thrilled by his achievements and opportunity to have a great future in spite of the sacrifices made each year to ensure that he makes a difference in the world one day.

Myles has received financial assistance from Davidson Academy, coupled with financial support from my family, because of his academic achievements. This past school year was extremely taxing on our family with unforeseen medical issues, layoffs, and other pressing financial circumstances. As a result, his full tuition for school year 2011-2012 was not fully satisfied. Myles will not be able to re-enroll in school on Monday as well as his financial assistance forfeited until the full balance is paid.

After many attempts to satisfy the remaining debt over the summer, there remains a balance of $3500.00 needed by Sunday, August 11th, 2013 in order for him to return to school on Monday, August 12th.

We are asking and believing by faith that God will move upon the heart of 150 people to give $25.00 or whatever you desire to apply towards the balance. There is a blessing in the asking! Davidson Academy has agreed to reinstate his financial assistance in order that I have an affordable monthly payment plan.
