My Up with People volunteering experience

Hi, my name is Hannah, I am very excited to announce that I have been accepted to travel for six months with the international group 'Up with people'. I will be traveling as past of a cast of 100 others from 20 different countries, staying with local host families each week of our 20- city international tour. Within each city we give the gift of 1,000 hours of community service and entertaining local audiences with our high energy musical show. This is am amazing opportunity for me to be able to perform as well as help out other communities and inspire young people.

I am reaching out to you today to assist with my fundraising efforts to meet my tuition goals in order to travel with Up with People in the summer of 2018. By contributing to my fund, I will hold you close to my heart, in that you will be traveling with me in spirit during the tour!

In a world filled with constant change, we are often divided by fear and intolerance. Up with People is breaking down these fears by using a unique blend of music and social action to empower people across the globe to think differently about their world and understand the things that unite us as people and societies – our common humanity.
