Campaign Story
We are at our lowest point.
My uncle, Renato Padilla Reyes, 52 years old, confined for two months now, was diagnosed of pneumonia, coronary disease and other organ failures.
For close friends and relatives, you know that he is the reason behind my degree and CPA license. It is just saddening that this is the time that I really need to payback his sacrifices then... Unfortunately, all funds are now fully exhausted.
Last January 8, the supposedly check up turned into one of the bigget life battles our family has experienced. We were asked to have him confined in a private hospital, since all rooms at Tarlac Provincial Hospital were occupied.
After ten days, we were forced to transfer him to the government hospital due to financial constraints. Not to mention the initial hospital’s close door policy for all the medicines being prescribed to him.
Good thing, many extended their help- friends, colleagues, a tv personality, pcso and government offices, we were able to have him discharged, but leaving a promissorry note for the unpaid bill from the initial amount almost 200,000 pesos.
Two months of antibiotics, 8 tanks of oxygen support a day, laboratory tests, xray, 2d echo and all others.
Finally, with God’s grace and your continuous prayers, he is expected to be cleared from the hospital this week (or next week latest) and with courage, I am humbly asking for your support.
Note: Attached are the hospital bills- doctor’s fee is billed separately.
Not included are the receipts for over the counter medicines, majority bought in Bambang
