Campaign Story
Dear Friends, Collegues, Musicians and Artists,
Most of you who know me personally, know that music makes up the better part of my life, it is a passion that has begun for me when i was just old enough to think, and the urge to play music grew more and more with my age. I am 22 now, and I am incredibly hungry for more music, more challenges, to push my personal boundaries as far as possible.
Two weeks ago, at an exposition where I was supposed to play at, someone broke into a friends car, where my trumpet and my studio laptop (for recording) was stored, just for a couple of hours. They broke the doors lock from the outside, and just took everything. I suppose the robbers were watching the exposition preparations, since you could not see that the instrument was inside from outside the car.
Basically what had happened to me in that moment was the loss of my instrument and of my recording interface. But not just any instrument. I have carried that thing to every single country i went to, over the atlantic to the carribean, to the south in the jungle, to salt lakes and mountains.
I cannot find the trumpet back. That is for sure, it seems like the robbers were smart enough to sell it in another city. So, the only way to get back on track is to get a new instrument, a trumpet, so i can MAKE MUSIC, GROW and PUSH THOSE LIMITS again.
Since I am a student, i am currently living pretty modestly, and cannot afford to equip myself with a trumpet.
So here I am, asking the community for help so that a young aspiring musician can continue his playing, and working on his skills. Every Penny brings me a step closer. I swear to you: I WILL GIVE EVERYTHING BACK MUSICALLY!
Thank you so much,
Yours truly,
Mika Lukas Karamandi

Queridos amigos, musicos, artistas,
Muchisimas gracias,
Atentamente,
Mika Lukas Karamandi
