My Travel Fund

Hi, I'm Juan-Francisco (Chico), and I've been trying to save up enough to be able to travel during the December holidays but, unfortunately, I am still far from my goal.

I'm looking to travel with my girlfriend to the Philippines to visit family over Christmas, New Year's, and (most importantly) my birthday.

We've managed to save around R12000 (+- $875) this year, but will need a total of R17000 ($1200-ish depending on conversion rates and all) to just about cover the flight tickets. We'll be staying with family and friends, so our costs while there would mainly be for traveling around to do touristy things - taking photos, getting sun-tans, soaking up some culture, eating local foods, meeting new people, and all those lovely things (but mostly the food part).
