My Tennis School

Dear All,

My dream and goal I wish to achieve is to create an oasis of sport and recreation, a place where people can learn how to play tennis while living in a home environment at countryside, breathing fresh air, taking it slow and focusing on lessons of this beautiful yet not easy sport.

Four years ago I bought a piece of land 8 miles from the city of Krakow, Poland. Back then I was searching for a specific size and shape of land which would allow to build a house and a tennis court on it and I've found it. My budget was 40.000 Polish Zloty, price was 66.000 so I got in debt. After paying back the money I've borrowed I was able to start collecting the money again for the house and court. After creating a project of a house for a family and talking with a construction company I've realized I'm gonna be building a big house not having the money for it and not having a family to make it a home. The cost is about 400.000 for the house and 100.000 for the court with hard surface. I wouldn't get a mortgage this big so I started thinking of another way how to accomplish my dream, how to start my tennis school. Collecting it from you guys it's also not an option because I want to earn the money for my house.

Few weeks ago I've got an idea. It can be done step by step. A grass court is cheaper, it can be build with only 30.000. A small house build by myself with a help of friends and family, without a construction company, and I'm talking here about a really tiny house about 258 square feet of living space which is enough for one or two people costs about 40.000. The idea is to live in a tiny house while working full time from home office and part time giving lessons on a backyard court and renting the court for clients. Cost of living in such a house is very low, adding to it no mortgage would allow me to save the money to build a bigger house where I could start a family. After leaving the small house I would be able to rent it for clients willing to take a week intense course of tennis lessons linked with tourism (Krakow, Wieliczka, near by National Park and many more - just type those places in a search engine and you will be amazed). That's the thing I want to do - teaching people tennis in my backyard, hosting guests at my home, taking care of them and making them feel like home. I also would like to teach kids from families which can't afford to put their children in tennis schools at the city because it's very expensive. My parents couldn't afford so I just watched players like Agassi, Kuerten, Sampras and few years later Federer and Nadal trying to play like them.
