Hello my friends,
My name is Peter Lazea and I am a father of two kids. One of them is 18 months and the big one is 7 years old. I am German and also Romanian citizen but now i live in Romania with my wife and our two little kids.
Because we think that education is one of the most important things in life, our biggest desire ever was to give our kids the best education. For us a good education mean more then just send them to a school where the teacher give them good informations. For us the meaning of education is to prepare children for real life in such a way that they become happy humans.
For us Waldorf pedagogy is what we were looking for. When I first time stepped in the Sophia Waldorf School in Brasov I knew that this is a place and environment in which we want our children to be. Waldorf pedagogy is what we have always sought and is what we want for the happiness and wellbeing of our little children.
In the city we live in Sophia is the only Waldorf School and so the only opportunity to give to our kids a real education.
Sophia Waldorf School is at the beginning of its existance and my eldest child who graduated this year the preparatory class is ready to enter the first grade starting from September 2016. Alexei, our 7 years son is extremely excited about his school where he learn in the present and we very much want this to exist... we want this for Alexei, we want this for our little kid and we want this for all the kids and parents that are looking for a real education and for an education that learn their children to became happy adults!!!
Since autumn the School is forced to move to another building and it need some funds to go ahead. We need friends that believe in our mission and also financial support to help Waldorf Sophia School to continue their project and achieve financial sustainability to make it exist!
Do this for a real education so that the new generations will have the right attitude and courage to change something... and to make the world a better place!
Do this for you, for your kids, for your grandchildren... just do it for a better world!

I went to progessive/alternative schools from 4th grade onward and I sought the same experience for my son and I admire your intent to provide the best possible education for your kids. My son is now looking at colleges, and we're excited and so happy that he has had his wonderful education to prepare him for this. And some day, you will be looking at colleges, and be so very glad you decided to put in this effort and sacrifice.
