My name is Kenneth Mosotho and I have four children, three boys and one girl by the names Mpho, Simamkele, Lesedi and Sabelwe Mosotho. My second son Simamkele is currently studying photography at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and is doing his third year. My wife and I never finished school and my two eldest sons Mpho and Simamkele were the first in our family to Matriculate in 2017. I am really struggling to help Simamkele get the equipment he needs for his course because as you know Camera equipment is expensive and I’m the only one working in our house. I am really proud of Simamkele and have done everything I can to make sure he has everything he needs, and I’ve even gotten in to dept just to try and make sure he has what is required by the Institution. He has applied for funding and unfortunately the funding only covers mostly tuition and transport. Simamkele is a very hard worker and it breaks my heart that I can’t help him much with the equipment he needs. I’m sure as a parent you would understand how heart breaking it is not being able to support your children’s dreams because as parents, we want to give our kids a better life than we had. Simamkele is currently in need of lenses, speed light, reflector, camera SD card, Tripod, cable release, remote, Camera Battery, lens hoods and is hoping to study for another year. These past three years since his first year have been rough and most of the time, I would notice that he barely eats anything at home. I would really appreciate any donations to help with Simamkele’s education. He is a very hard working, enthusiastic, creative and inspiring young man because he never lets anything get the best of him. Please help me support his dream through donating what ever you can and know that it is appreciated and is helping a young man chase after his dreams.
