I am an elder bother of two sisters have gone through some hard times in the last two years.
I also had a heart attack my elder sister lost her husband and my younger sister at the tender age of 52 after cancer surgery fighting for life in isolation during covid19 with three children.
She could not get the tests that she needed during the covid 19 in London and it was nightmare in London Northwick Park hospital ,where I also lost my brother in law for sepsis last year. His wife my elder sister and three girls are grieving at thier young age losing their beloved father at young age lost in isolation with grief.
The family as a whole suffered and broke our hopes and dreams prior and during the covid crisis.
We are devoted catholic's from sriLanka served our adopted homeland UK and the extended London community for the sanctuary she had kindly provided to all the people around the world in recent years and for that my extended family continue to give our lives and soul here in healthcare for over 30 years. I for one over 25 years as London registered nurse had a fare share of challenges and trying to over come my struggle here alone too.
However my sister need that efficent treatment and support in this troubled times and she will never ask me for anything and she knows I have nothing to give it to her too.
Therefore I am really broken down and unable help my sister who has two girls and a boy, young adults in university and their studies interrupted life gone upside down looking after their mother at this difficult times.
Her eldest daughter was studying chemistry in London giving her full care at home for her mother, start taking responsibility of the family.
I am helpless as a health care professional I cannot even see her. I have also attached here my heart attack letter and also recovering without any insurance or support living alone.
All I can ask for miracle to help her to get the treatment she deserve in the coming year. She worked as teacher in maths for young children in north London and very popular among her students all got first class and she also worked as a lead health care asst outpatients in London hospital for many years and offers nurse training for hard work.
I can only ask the people with that giving heart and minds to give this young mother a fighting chance.
The picture shows how happy and colourful my baby sister is.That picture is over 40 years old.
she even came to my law graduation while I was working as a nurse in London which I completed prior to my heart attack. That time she was in her early stage of her illness just recovering from her ordeal.
I am really taking my chance here to help my sister and her family, my family has given all our life to help others. This is the first time I have to ask something from the UK public to help me raise this fund for her and give it to her on her birthday if she continue to fight this trauma.
I am also trying to keep her privacy and dignity throughout this process.
I leave it in your hands and thanks for reading this and god bless.
I wish you all the best and the blessing for your family in this trouble times.
Her loving brother.
