Campaign Story
Hi Everyone, I am hoping this takes off for me. I have been running my little one man Handyman Business here in Switzerland for the last 4 years and, in that time, I have worked hard and tried to keep the business going. But I am finding it harder to do heavier jobs now at the ripe old age of 59. ( My job involves a lot of Ikea furniture assembly) I purchased a cheap Scroll saw about a year ago and tried scroll saw work, creating a few examples for people to see and a lot were impressed . I made the usual birthday gifts like birth signs, name letters etc. The problem I have, is that the machine I purchased was cheap and it is really difficult to change blades etc during the cutting. Therefore, I am hoping through the fundraising to purchase a couple of machines and also to rent a small workspace to set them up and spend more time making gifts for Christmas, birthdays etc. I would also like to venture into doing photo silhouettes. I enjoy making these items so much but cannot afford to put out on the machines. And this is why I am asking for donations to help buy the 2 machines, sanders and materials needed to start up my little venture. Many thanks for taking the time and I hope that you can help me. kind regards Joethehandyman
