MY Scoliosis Fund

I am suffering from severe Idiopathic Scoliosis. The severe S-curvature of my spine causes frequent episodes of dyspnea (difficulty in breathing), chest pain, locking of the spine (I suddenly cannot move and back is in pain when trying), numbness of the back and limbs. My physical activities have become very limited.

As of September 11 (Philippine time), I am undergoing corrective surgery of the spine. The Philippine Charities has contributed a portion of the cost of the materials and our family has been able to raise the funds necessary to cover the titanium rod and screws for this operation, but are lacking funds for the 10-14 day hospital stay, doctor's fees, etc. We must raise the necessary funds before my hospital stay is complete, or risk the total cost increasing with each day that they do not release me, due to lack of payment. The Philippines has no national healthcare and everything is paid out of pocket. We reach out to our friends and extended family for any contribution to my cause. Many of you have raised funds for large organizations who are able to affect people's lives through walks/runs. The beneficiaries may be complete strangers to you and we've all helped for a good cause. I ask you to contribute to someone who may be a stranger to you, I want to grow up as normally as possible.
