Growing up I noticed that my right foot was also growing unusually larger than the other. It wasn't until this year when I noticed that a wound the size of a coin formed underneath my toes and the veins on my right foot were also getting bigger.

At first I wasn't alarmed however I noticed that it was not healing. I tried antibiotics and herbal medications but none of it worked.

Last August, We went to the hospital and the initial diagnosis was is that I have a Venous Stasis Ulcer. I was given an appointment to a Vascular Surgeon right away. The Surgeon quickly noticed the veins and said that I have Venous Insufficiency.

My doppler ultrasound determined that it was indeed Venous Insufficiency.

Luckily we still had money to pay for the surgery and fees which costs around Php 54,000 ($1016)

3 months has passed but my right foot did not heal at all. In fact, it was worse than before. I was advised to undergo another treatment and surgery that would cost a lot more than the last time.

I was forced to leave my job since I can't pass a fit to work document. Now, I have no where else to go and no where else to find help from. I hope you can support me in my journey to recovery.

Thank you and God bless.
