My name is jasmine Boyd I'm 24 years old. I was diagnosed with keratoconus in May 2010. I went to art institute for photography. I got my degree and was ready to start my lifelong dream of capturing GODS work, his creation. My eyes have always been strange but when I went to do my first real event as a real photographer I woke up that morning and I couldn't see out my left eye. I tried to deal with it and went to the event to take photos when I realized I couldn't see my subjects. I felt horrible, ashamed and alone thinking I did something wrong. Eventually I couldn't see anything at all, everything was blurred so I went to hospital. They said they see nothing wrong they then had an ophthalmologist look and he said I'm suffering from severe keratoconus in my left eye and right eye. I went through almost a year and half of special treatment special contacts lenses all awhile my vision deteriorated and nothing helped. I had mental breakdown. I then was told I have to have a transplant but I have to be between 25-35 years old but I'm not. In doing further research I learned I am of age but have to weigh 150 pounds to 200 pounds which I'm not. Doing even more research I discovered celebrities that suffer as well, such as will.i.am. On a website he talked about Dr Brian Boxer who I researched. I found he created a cure for people like me and has helped thousands of people survive and regain their life. So I'm asking please, please, please help me regain my sight and go back to a normal life and doing what I love- capturing GODS work and precious moments. I'm asking to please help me regain sight to see my sister and brother grow up, help them with homework and enjoy all life moments. Please help me so I can one day have kids and see them, help me so I can see my 25th birthday with family and see my mom get married next year. Please help me be normal again.
