Taking to the skies

Hey there,

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this.

I know this is going to be quite an out there request and that there are many better and possibly more worthy causes out there on this site. However, I thought I would give this a go.

I am currently studying and living in Stellenbosch, a town near to Cape Town, South Africa. For those of you that do not know the area I would recommend looking it up as it is one of the most amazing and breathtaking areas. Beautiful mountains combined with rolling vineyards.

This brings me on to why I made this page, I am looking to buy a drone in order to fully capture the beauty of the country. Unfortunately a drone is not something I can finance on my own currently, although I am looking for a job to try and earn the money while I study (sadly to no avail). I am looking to start a Youtube channel once I get the drone as a side project while I finish my University studies, hopefully in capturing a unique perspective of the land I can generate interest and appreciation for the area. The Western Cape of South Africa is currently experiencing a severe water shortage and I hope that by capturing footage of severely affected areas which are really seen by the majority of South Africans, attention can be raised surrounding this area and support can be generated for supporting those in need.
