My personal story of my cancer journey.

My journey started off one morning when taking my shower ready for work, just like any other day. However this day was different and was to change my life as when showering I noticed some lumps in my groin.

Few days later the lumps were still there and had slightly increased in size. Time to see the doctor.

After just a couple of weeks of investigation and a biopsy my diagnosis was confirmed. ( Grade 2 Non Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma ) because I acted quickly my grade was low and very treatable. This was a very scary time with a Myriad of emotions for me and my family. However I am pleased to say all is going very well and after only the first chemo session my lumps are shrinking. My prognosis is very good for an extended life expectancy..!!

Therefore Guys and Girls my advice to you - Get to know what is normal for you with your body. If at anytime you feel something not quite right ( get it checked out asap don't procrastinate )An early diagnosis is key. (Don't act later, act now ).....!!!

I am very fortunate to live near the Shakra Centre, Charing, Kent. run by Dawn and Neil and I have been taking advantage of all the free help they offer for cancer patients.

I have had crystal healing with Dawn with amazing results. Not only is the session relaxing it leaves me feeling more positive and uplifted to get through the next sessions of chemo. Holistically after each session I feel so complete both mentally and physically relaxed and rejuvenated. A homeostasis balance.

I had my first crystal healing session with Dawn before going to the hospital for my first chemo therapy cycle. At that time I had two lumps that had surfaced on the left side of my neck. These lumps were steadily growing and where quite sore and hard and causing me some discomfort.

Within one week I went to scratch my neck and to my amazement the two lumps had disappeared. My initial reaction was; Wow this can not be.?I searched and prodded my neck but the lumps were nowhere to be found. You can imagine I was excited and Straight away I contacted my daughter to tell her. Obviously she was very happily surprised. We both asked the question was this Devine intervention or just a coincidence.? Please let me confirm I am not proclaiming a miracle or an alternative to the great treatment from the NHS team but I have to stay open minded to something that has no logical explanation...I am positive and I do believe.

The passion they both have to support those going through such trauma with the free treatments and their dedication to the centre Is very supportive. We hope to set up a support group so others can meet and share their story, journey with others who are or been through the same journey.

To help keep this support going for others I have recorded a song to raise awareness and to raise funds for the centre so the great work provided may continue. I can not stress enough how important this support has been for myself and still continues to be...!!

I will be collecting donations for the following:-

-The Celia Blakly Unit where I am having my treatment. The staff are all just so fantastic and highly trained which is very reassuring when they are in charge of administering your treatment. There are some odd things they would like for the ward. Like small side tables and some mobile bed screens. Things that would enhance The comfort and privacy of the patient.

-Cancer Research. Through research treatment has come along way in past 20 years. With continued funds I feel they will get there soon in finding a cure for all..This will then remove the stigmer and the fear of the word cancer as will no more be life threatening.

- macmillan Cancer support. They offer a very dedicated professional service in supporting individuals, family and friends. The service they provided is invaluable. However they need funds to keep this very much needed service and support network available.

Please click, listen and donate. Large or small all donations gratefully received and will go to a very good causes. Please help me by sharing and sending the message around the world.

I Thank you very much.
