My godmother needs your help. Her name is Dominga Becamon. She is much more known by her short names Meng, ate Meng or ate Domeng. She currently just had her second operation with her colon cancer last October 8, 2018. She is now recovering but is still staying at Cardinal Santos Medical Center and is also stressing herself on how she will be able to cover her bills.

During her first operation, she mainly needed blood. Most of the expenses involves blood transfusion to survive her first operation. For the finances, I helped to cover most of it and she asked help from her relatives, friends and company. But this time around, it is more difficult to seek financial help, as I am still currently paying what I have borrowed during the first operation.

The target fund will cover only partial amount of the current hospital expenses which will be around more or less P 300,000.00. We are currently seeking help as well from government agencies such as Philheath and PCSO. If someone could suggest or assist us where we could seek additional financial help for my Ninang, it will be very welcome as well.

My Ninang (godmother) and my mom have been very good friends even before I was born. She came from Pangasinan and my mom from Ormoc. If I remember correctly, they met each other working as salesladies at Scasini (a shoe store) in Manila. From then on, they have been living together until today and she has been a part of our family though not directly related by blood since then.

Ninang Meng (or I simply call her Ninang) has no kids, married but already separated, so she only have us, her friends, her old colleagues and her relatives to turn to help. She is currently 55 years old only, while my mom is already 64 years old and is in a healthy condition despite her diabetes. It will be ironic, if ever, to lose Ninang first than my mom. It will be a very big challenge for us and mostly for my mom, if ever we have to go through that situation. So we are doing everything we can to survive this.

As of this writing she is still recovering in the hospital and her doctor gave signals already that she can be discharged soon, but to be able to be fully discharged, we have to settle whatever balances we have accrued. I am hoping that she could be discharged before October ends, so I am humbly asking for any financial help that you could offer for us through this GoFundMe channel. Small or big, everything matters. We will be forever grateful for your help.
