I am writing on behalf of my mother Marian Fill Guibone. My mother (whom I usually call "Mommy Marian") was diagnosed and is suffering from Stage 2 Malignant Sarcoma in the late year of 2020. She was required to undergo chemotherapy and radiation. Currently, she is situated at Home here in Makati awaiting to start her treatment by this month, January 2021.

Who Am I?

Hi there! My name is Joseph and I´m a 33 years old husband, dad, and only son of Marian Guibone from Makati City, Philippines. For almost 4 years from 2016 to 2020, I've worked in Dubai, UAE, in the e-commerce industry. I´ve lost my job due to the recent covid-19 Pandemic last February of 2020, did many interesting things like being part of a ministry in our church in Dubai but then... something happened to my mom that forced me to leave my wife and only daughter back in Dubai!

Why do I need the money for?

I´m the sole provider of my family and only son to my mother Marian Guibone. My mother was diagnosed and is suffering from Stage 2 Malignant Sarcoma in the late year of 2020. She was required to undergo chemotherapy and radiation that needs to be done as soon as possible. I have already get in touch with Makati Medical Center for chemotherapy and radiation procedures which will cost us a lot of money per cycle. I'll also be needing to admit her in a private room to lessen travel expenses and prevent pain inflicted injuries to my mother due to consistent conductions or transfers from home to hospital. Another reason is that she no longer has the balance to stand up for a longer period of time due to the tumor that has already taken over her left bone and muscle tissues.

How will I spend the money?

  • Chemotherapy and radiation expenses
  • Pain reliever medicines and maintenance for Blood Sugar, Highblood, and Cholesterol (Morphine, Pregabalin, Atorvastatin, Losartan, Metformin, etc.)
  • Private room in Makati Medical Center to lessen travel expenses and prevent pain inflicted injuries to my mother due to consistent conductions or transfers from home to hospital, back and forth.
  • Miscellaneous like underpads, adult-diapers, tissue rolls, alcohol, betadine spray for her bedsores.

I also plan to use Social Media, Youtube to share the procedures, and progress from the start of medication (chemotherapy and radiation)

Do you want to know more about my story? Keep on reading and find out why I decided to ask for your help.

And then came the bad news

I have a lovely 2-year-old daughter - and a wife together with me in Dubai. The family is small but we´re quite happy. In the mid of the financial crisis, all of a sudden, we received the news no family should receive. Quite a shock, but we kept going on and I decided to go back to the Philippines leaving my wife and daughter in Dubai. So that I could give my mother the best support possible, my wife still has her work at a British Nursery school in Dubai while we are blessed to enroll our daughter in the same school with her mom for 75% off since there is no one who can keep an eye on our daughter after I left Dubai - we decided not to go back as a family since we still need to support the needs of our only daughter as well as it would be hard for me and my wife to lose her job as well during this pandemic.

From that moment on I dedicated myself to being the carer of my mother, dealing with a new world of pain and physical hardship that I wouldn´t even dare to dream of.

So please, can you help me?

The pandemic came like a whirlpool of chaos and left me with no job and no income, the hospital is already waiting for me but no money to get this whole thing going on.

So please, please! will you help me support my mother both spiritual (prayers) and her medical expenses? Your financial donations will help pay for the chemotherapy and radiation treatments, medications, transportation, and all other necessary expenses related to her cancer treatments and hospitalization. I´m willing to provide all the necessary info regarding my mother´s progress and updates if you guys seem fit.

I'm having faith in God that He will guide us in this journey, We'll be able to bounce back and enjoy a life that He has given. I pray that he gives me and my mother the strength to overcome this.
