My Mother’s Battle with Cancer

My mother, Rizalina (known to many as Bubut), was diagnosed with Stage III-C Endometrial Cancer last year. Her cancer was discovered incidentally during her surgery (Myomectomy) on June 2019. She’s already on her second chemotherapy session (November 6, 2020) and she’s reacting well to the treatment. My mom still needs to undergo four more chemo sessions to be followed by radiation therapy.

My mother is the most resilient person I know. She’s selfless even in the most trying times of her life. She’s always there to give her love and support to anyone that needs it. Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to her but my family couldn’t afford the remainder of her treatment since the pandemic (Covid19) left most of us unemployed. I lost my job last April as well as my other siblings.

Everything we can do to help and surround her with love is what is most important, so she can focus on beating this thing.
