My Mother Needs Help Please

Hello everyone, my name is Maria Fatima Sheine Separa. I am currently on my 2nd years in college of nursing, 19 years of age, a Filipino, and together with my little brother, we are here to make a fundraising for our mother.

She got in an accident yesterday, September 06, 2020, while driving our motorbike and got stumbled due to a sudden crossing of a dog in the highway

My mom got surprised by sudden crossing of the dog, but rather than overrunning and hurt the dog, she suddenly avoids it, and got stumbled making her got scratches and her chin got wounded.

She was taken up to the hospital and have gone an X-ray procedure to see if there is any fractures, but unfortunately she got her chin (mandibular) got fractured.

The doctor told us that she needs to be operated as soon as possible, that her chin should be fixed in order to avoid infections, for she be able to eat again.

The doctor will put a 2 small metal plates in her chin for it to connect due to her chin got fractured in the center (front), that would cost 20,000 pesos per metal plate. The screws that would be put on would costs 2,500 pesos each. And they will put a metal in her teeth that I don't know what is the cost. He also told us that she would be able to eat through her nose by the use of a tube while she's in healing process. And we asked him how would be the total amount in this operation. And he said it will be 150,000 pesos or higher.

We tell to the doctor that we will think about it and tell it to my father. She just undergone stitching near her lower lips and under her chin for the wound be closed. And they said that we should be back next week to check her stitches and to know if we will admit her and continue to the said operation.

My Mother really needs help right now. We are not rich people and my father is an OFW and his salary isn't enough for this operation.

We want our mother to be treated as soon as possible before the infection spreads and be worse, for the doctor said it will be hard to treat it if the infection got worse.

Please I know that it is hard this days due to pandemic but I am hoping for your kindness, in any amount would be a great help.

It makes my heartache seeing my younger brother crying and see the pain in my mother's eyes. That makes me think of what should I do, for me, my younger brother, my grandma, and my mom lives on the same roof that I am the only one who should make a solution and a plan and my father is in abroad and couldn't help but makes me think that everything will be alright.

We're not asking too much, we just really need your helping hands in order for my mother to be treated as soon as possible.
