My car broke down and I need to fix it!

Hi everybody, thank you for taking the time to read through my campaign. A bit more about me: I am 31 years old, married and we have a little baby boy. I have been working full time for close to a decade while also studying part time and I finally completed my degree last year. I am also currently employed.

More about my campaign: My car started giving trouble and broke down quite suddenly. They were able to repair it, but due to the amount of work and cost of parts it is proved to be quite expensive.

However, the repair costs still worked out cheaper than buying even a used car that is in decent shape (less than half of what another car will cost).

Work on the car included: overhauling the engine (lots of parts such as valves, o-rings and gaskets being replaced, cleaned properly, etc), new waterpump, replacing the clutch plate, pulleys and belts, replacing bearings and rubber boots on the cv joints, as well as work on both the front and back brakes.

I need this car for my personal life and to be able to get to work, which is a bit far from where I live, so I didn't really have a choice in the matter.

I did have some savings that I used to cover some of the costs, but unfortunately it wasn't enough and I still need to pay the difference, which is now the purpose for setting up this campaign.
