My Mom’s Bout of Incurable Cancer

First let me say my mom would kill me if she knew I was doing this for her. Second, my mom is strongest, greatest super woman I've ever known in my life. She means the world to me, and even though she will kill me for doing this, I know that it will bring so much joy to her life even after everything she goes through every single day.

Back in 2002 my mom had breast cancer. I'll never forget coming home that day and her sitting behind her desk in the living room.(Darn tearing up writing this). I asked her if she heard back from the doctor yet, and I could see the tears in her eyes, and from that I knew...I took off work the next day and took her on a trip, and I just remembering telling her you can get through this. It was an emotional day, and I'll always remember it.

Well 2 years later, she got through! She fought her way through each treatment and won! I've always knew my mom was tough as nails, but wow, this put her on another level. My entire family was so happy and joyed over the news that she was cancer free!

Fast Forward 13 years later...2015...The breast cancer returned...and this time it spread to her bones.

The doctors told us that because it's in her bones it's incurable...they only this they can do is slow the cancer. Once again, my mom braced for a fight, but a fight to survive as long as she could. She did the surgeries, and did treatments every single week, and two years later she still stands tall(Tears again). She's been through hell, and she will have to keep getting treatments for the rest of her life as they try to keep the cancer from spreading. She'll have a couple of good days, and really bad days, but she continues to fight.

My mom has been through so much in the past 2 years and will have to continue fighting on. So this is where I created this campaign for her. I found out that she has been hiding some hiding medical bills and trying to pay when she can. I know that my parents are struggling and have debt. I wish I was in the position in my life to just give them money to take off the stress of having debt keep piling on. But...I'm not...I also can see that money stress is really getting to her.

My mom goes through enough stress and I would love just to help her out by paying some of the medical bills she has. Also, I would love for her to have just a little extra money that she can spend on herself! She's always giving out and she never spends it on what she wants. I know she has a bucket list and it would be nice if she had a little money after paying expenses to do some of those things she wants to do. I don't know, I just want to see her smile, once and while, despite the battles she fights.

I have never done a fund raiser before so I really have no clue what I am doing, but I will try to get a video of me telling her about this and a thank you video to all that help out. Of course I will be killed in the process by her, but it's all worth it.
