My mother Sylwia Mader is 38 years old...

So much too early to die. She wants to live. And enjoy life for a long time.

She is the proud mother of three children.

My brother Konrad is 20 years old, I'm 19 years old and my little sister Chiara is 11years old.

My mother was and is always a devoted mother who would give her life for us children.

She is the dearest person in the world, everyone who knows her likes her, nobody says anything negative about my mother.

She is a hairdresser who sees her job as a vocation.

She likes to be in contact with people and is popular with anyone who knows her because of her natural, honest nature and affection.

Unfortunately the year 2018 is not fair with my mother Sylwia.

In June, they are plaguing some complaints that she initially ignored.

She has bone pain, is breathless after a short effort, her skin is pale, at night she vomits several times, tiredness, bruises on the legs and arms, short-term vision problems, headaches and blackouts give her a mystery, but no cause for a visit to the doctor. She assumes a severe flu and takes over-the-counter medications for the flu. This should later turn out to be a mistake

On Monday, 02.07. In 2018 she gets her blood tested. Two days later on 04. July she gets the message that she should contact her family doctor for a thorough examination.

On the 6th of July the family doctor looks at the result of the blood test and comes to the conclusion that my mother is completely healthy except for a diminished value.

In the meantime, they are more and more in pain and mom is unwell daily.

Between the 7th of August and the 22nd of August my mother is getting worse every day. Now no one believes that she is healthy or ill with a severe flu or infection.

She is doing another blood test and a full check on Thursday, August 23rd.

On August 27 - The result of this investigation resulted in a disturbing recommendation to visit an oncology expert.

That's what my mother does 2 days later on 29.08. at 13.45 in company with me.

There, my mother is a bone marrow puncture with subsequent evaluation of the findings.

I'll never forget my mother screaming out loud - I do not want to die.

The result gave now certainty:

- acute myeloid leukemia (AML)

a malignant disease of the blood-forming system (blood cancer) in which an early precursor of a myeloid cell degenerates and proliferates in an uncontrolled manner.

Crying, we go together after a short talk time in the nearby hospital.

My mother is admitted there immediately despite lack of space. An ordeal of 7 weeks begins

My mother is hospitalized within 7 weeks:

- 2 chemotherapies

- 5 bone marrow punctures

during this time:

- fever in neutropenia in severe sepsis

- questionable pneumonia

- Hepatitis E

- a serious thrombosis

- Oral inflammation partly bloody

- partial vision loss

- nausea

- a lot of water deposits in both legs and in the rest of the body

- Blockage of the catheter port

But my mother is a fighter and claims to have no desire over and over again to get sick of this very aggressive form of blood cancer and to have seen it for a long time - not to live, only to vegetate and die on installments.

And now the reason for my appeal for donations:

Since our family has long been donating to humans, animals and nature

I remembered this great way of crowdfunding

Here the distress of an individual in a hopeless situation can be alleviated by the power of the crowd and give chance for a promising future

- the health, the most valuable asset of a person.

I want to give my mom the chance to get one

CAR T cell therapy in the United States

enable.

Explanation of this therapy:

The CAR-T technology represents a novel and highly effective therapy method in which the body's own defense cells are genetically engineered outside the body in such a way that they are able to specifically recognize and eliminate tumor cells.

The body's own defense cells are trained for tumor detection

Genetically engineered CAR-T cells solve a central problem of cancer therapy: they recognize tumors of the blood-forming and lymphatic system, which are actually invisible to the body's defense. In the case of CAR-T-cell therapy, initially cells of the immune defense - so-called T cells - are obtained from the patient's blood. These are then genetically engineered in the laboratory to form CAR molecules on their surface directed against cancer-specific surface proteins. The so-modified CAR-T cells are returned to the patient where they ideally proliferate, resulting in a violent and prolonged immune response to the cancer. Disadvantages of CAR-T-cell therapy are - in addition to the very high costs - the potential strong side effects, which is why their use is only approved in clinics with appropriate intensive medical care.

The price can certainly be argued, but a human life is and remains priceless.

The miracle drug is called Kymriah.

NOVARTIS USA estimates a cost of $ 400,000 to $ 500,000.

Additional costs for stay in the hospital, medication after inpatient treatment and necessary follow-up will certainly add another $ 100,000.

To give this therapy to my mother

I ask for your help.

I still need $ 200,000 or $ 175,000

Please help, my mother, at 38, far too young to let the cancer take away what every human carries. - the desire to live

Please keep in mind that there are never too small donations. Every dollar, every euro, every pound and every Swiss franc is another step to make my mother healthy.

On January 19th my mother had her 38th birthday.

We 3 kids and our daddy say thank you for your great financial support and

please share, share, share.

My mother lost her beloved father, my grandpa, to aggressive cancer when she was 13 years old.

Now she says a sentence from the movie

> The Gladiator with Russel Crowe. every day

Daddy - we'll meet again, but not now, not now .........

We appreciate so much any help you can give us.

Thank you thank you thank you
