My mother, Cecilia Rea, has been diagnosed with Dengue fever. As I am writing this, her blood platelet count is now down to 15. This is a second time Dengue infection, she's 60 years old and currently confined at a small hospital in Pasig City, Philippines. After receiving 6 bags of blood through transfusion, her condition has not improved.
We need to move her to a hospital with better facilities for her to receive proper care as soon as possible and hopefully recover from the infection. I can't be by her side physically even if I want to. A plane ticket from the U.S. to the Philippines is expensive and every penny counts right now so I am doing everything I can on my end to help my family in the Philippines shoulder the medical bills. Help us, please.
