My Medical fund for UC management.

Update posted by Aaron Art Bato On Apr 15, 2018

It's been 2 months since I started this campaign, and I would just like to add an update to the campaign. I would also like to thank all those who have supported me and have donated to the campaign. Even though I can't repay you. I do pray that God will bless your life for your kindness and generosity towards a stranger in need.

Like on the previous update my first goal was to get atleast P50,000 in order to be able to afford a colonoscopy and at the very least 1 months worth of the maintenance medication. I would like to inform you that we're halfway there. I'm still keeping all the funds until we reach our goal. Because what would a knowing my condition be if I couldn't do anymore more about it after that.

Thank you so much to all who donated, may God bless you and may you prosper.

Thanks to all who donated so far, I've just posted this update to let everyone know what I am planning to do with the collected funds.

First I would like to save up for a colonoscopy since my last one was 6 years ago and would already be highly innacurate. And atleast enough funds to last for atleast 2 months of medicine so that I can start to recover. Back when I got my colonoscopy it costed around P17,000+, seems about right since I saw some news that nowadays in 2018 it still costs around P15,000-25000 depending on the hospital.

And the medication I used to take costs around P33,000 per month. It's called Salofalk, or mesalazine as a generic name. I would need atleast 2-3 months supply to see if it's still working or if I need to switch to a different one. Hopefully not, since that was already the cheapest type of medicine for UC. So I would be keeping the money until we have an amount close to what I realistically need which would be around P81,000-91,000 thousand pesos.

Thank you very much for supporting me in my fight against this disease.
