Hi, my name is Franklin Boswell-Taylor I am a 22 year old Masschusetts resident and I am Communications major at Curry College. I am a very active part of the Curry Community, with being a part of the Men’s Lacrosse Team, the Residence life staff, and many other clubs and associations. I come from a very loving single mother who is the breadwinner of our family. She has been supporting me, my two sisters, and my grandmother for as long as I can remember. This has always made her the strongest and most impactful person in my life.
Four years ago my family and I found out my mother was diagnosed with stage three Ovarian Cancer…
Although this illness requires hundreds of hours of Chemotherapy and other forms of treatment to even start down towards the road of remission, she has continued to be as resilient as I have always known her to be. She continues to work forty hour weeks and provides for many people beside herself. As she tirelessly works for those around her I only wish I could one day repay her for her hard work. She has been family's rock and driving force behind my motivation to complete my schooling. This is my senior year and after much hard work and effort by the end of this semester I will have finally reached my goal of being the first person in my family to have graduated from college.
Unfortunately due to this and other recent events my family and I are no longer able to make any more payments towards my education for this final semester. Now that you know a bit about me I would like to ask for your help and support with getting me through this last semester. If you could help support us with kind of donation at all It would mean the world to me and my family.
Thank you and God bless,
-Franklin M. Boswell-Taylor
