My joy is my right

Few days and Eid al-Adha comes to spread hope in the hearts of children who are tired of fear and pain and are looking for joy in the simplest details despite the bitter reality of bombing, destruction and killing that we lived in last Eid “Eid al-Fitr”, during which the Israeli occupation planes prevented children from wearing new Eid clothes. Which they decorated and perfumed for wearing on the days of Eid and prevented them from enjoying the games and swings that were set up in the streets of Gaza, as every Eid. But the joy is renewed with the advent of Eid al-Adha, perhaps it can dispel the darkness and tragedies that afflicted the children as a result of this war and deprived them of their joy on Eid al-Fitr and their enjoyment of clothes and games. The "My Joy is My Right" project targets the category of children who live in the affected areas and children who have lost their parents and have been exposed to great shocks and cannot provide for the needs of the holiday.

Why did we launch the "My joy is my right" project?

We launched this project to renew the manifestations of joy in the hearts of children and to spread fun and joy among them by providing the necessary money to buy clothes, toys and gifts, get out of the house and distribute meat and sweets to them, to keep them as much as possible away from the atmosphere charged with tension, especially children who live in a difficult psychological and social situation as a result of losing their parents and loved ones. They have the right to rejoice in the feast like others. The manifestations of joy experienced by the children of Gaza on the feast are an announcement to the children of their desire for life and joy, and this desire is not achieved unless we stand by each other and help these children.
