"This campaign is to help me fund my hemodialysis treatment which has been going on for the last 13 years."
THE IMAGE: Its a picture of my left arm during treatment, 2 gauge 16 fistula needles are inserted in my veins which are connected to tubes.. one tube extracts blood out of my body and runs it through the Hemodialysis machine, after the blood is cleaned an filtered it is returned to my body via the other tube.. this process runs for 4 hours, 2 times a week..
Hi im Christian, from the Philippines, i am 32 years old and suffering from End Stage Renal Disease since May of 2004.. 13 years of nonstop treatment has literally exhausted our family's finances.. Having Hemodialysis treatment is quite expensive specially in a country like the Philippines, treatment alone is expensive, not to mention the supporting medicines and Epoetin injections that go along with it.. That is why i am running this campaign, to ensure the continuation of my Hemodialysis and somehow buy a few more years of life..
