My Grandpa’s in the ICU

Update posted by Erykah Torres On Nov 18, 2019

The discharge order was successful and grandpa will now be home until further notice.

All that's left is to wait out to see how he readjusts with a hole in his throat (which he uses to breathe) and pay off all remaining balance. When that is achieved, I'll be closing this campaign.

Thank you all so much for your support!

We've received word that grandpa might actually be released soon, if all goes well. We just need to settle our current remaining account (and the upcoming ones in the next weeks he's still guaranteed to be confined), as well as have some funds ready for the medicine and equipment we need to keep him continually stable once he reaches home.

Thank you for all the support and encouragement! Fingers crossed.

My grandpa is finally stable enough that they're considering to move him to his own room/ward. We'll see how it goes.

On top of the approximate hospital bills, which is now the new campaign banner, we have calculated the total medical expenses for his day-to-day.

Current Campaign Total will be updated to accommodate this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

A week later from the initial start up of the campaign, he's still in the ICU. So that marks about a month of him staying there.

Hey, V, I know this donation on my end isn’t much and for that I apologize, i hope that this small amount can help, family is one of the most important things that we as people have and I hope your grandfather will recover.
