My Grandma’s Medical Expenses

My inspirational grandma Paoli Mark relapsed with her Leukeamia in October 2016 and was told the best possible treatment for survival would be to have a 2nd Stem Cell Transplant as her 1st one had failed hence the relapse. She was then hit with the bombshell that the Indian Government does not provide medical expenses (so much for our taxes)! My grandma would have to fund it herself at an extortionate cost! This is simply unbelievable! My grandma wept on the slim chances of her survival if she cannot find the funds to secure her operation...

I, personally have appealed this decision including writing a letter to the member of parliament representing my state but unfortunately it has been confirmed that the government will NOT be funding her transplant!! This is absolutely devastating news and words we never wanted hear!!

There is nobody else that can help my grandma! My parents have given up most of their life savings on this operation but to no avail, we are still very short. We have no time left, she will only be able to survive half a year without the operation but with it, greater than 5-7 years! But we are not going to let this happen, we haven't come this far to give up now!

We NEED your help more than ever now and we cannot express how grateful we have been for everyone's support so far! We are absolutely devastated, we need to raise just over INR 10,00,000 (SGD20,500, USD 14,500) ASAP!
