On August 7, 2019, our very loving grandmother, Emerita Villacorta Manalili, was taken to the hospital as she suffers from stroke.
Our 76 year old grandmother was initially diagnosed with Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease which is the no. 1 cause of death associated with high blood pressure. It refers to a group of disorders that includes heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and left ventricular hypertrophy (excessive thickening of the heart muscle). We were advised by the doctor that she needs to be placed in ICU, unfortunately, due to limited financial capacity, we decided to take the next available room which is less expensive compared to ICU. The hospitalization may last about a week or so depending on the results of the tests, and procedures she undergoes.
As the medical bills are beyond our reach, we appeal for help from your part in the medical expenses that will be required during her treatment.
If you know our grandmother, you know she has a golden heart who has helped a lot of people, most especially the less privileged members of our society, with various problems.
We are asking for any help as we endure every grandchildren’s worst nightmare, and all the associated medical cost that will incur during our hospital stay and lifesaving medications and treatments. We need you more than ever right know.
We are grateful to every kind donor that chooses to contribute to her recovery. Please share our story with your family and friends and may you will be blessed for the help. Also, we would like to ask that you to help us lift our family in thoughts, prayers and love. Thank you. #battleforemy
