My Grandma got all her jewerly stolen whilst she wasn’t home

I came from school in the afternoon, since I was first shift. I was with my Grandma and Grandpa for half an hour or so then went home. I hopped onto my PC and in a couple of hours my sister came home. She told me a neighbour has said that there was police at my grandma's house. I was really scared that someone broke in and hurt them, but it turns out they weren't home at the time of the robbery. They went to my grandmother's grave to bring some flowers since they haven't been there in a long time. All of this happened in a span of half an hour so they were most likely professionals as the police said. When my grandparents came home, my grandma's jewerly, perfumes and deodorants were stolen. The way the thieves came in was a wooden window that was different from every window on the house. It was weak so they took the opportunity to break in. When I heard what happened, I went to their house and the police was there. They asked me if I lived there and I said that I don't. They told me to go home as nothing was allowed to be touched or moved. I was thinking of buying her some new jewerly or giving her the money to buy herself some because the expenses of the stolen things excess over 4500$. She had golden chains, rings and a lot of amazing stuff. I feel really bad for her. She asked my grandpa to go check the upstairs to see if someone's there because she was scared that they locked someone in. I really want to help her, I love my grandma more than anything and I want to make her happy once again.
