MY FUTURE

Hello, my name is André Gonçalves Cardoso and i'm studying to became a nurse. First year I study at University of Coimbra and, nowadays, i go back to my hometown to continue my course at University of Santa Maria, Oporto.

Nurse's job is one of the most grateful job in society but there are lots of people that don't recognize that. Caring others like we care our family is the meaning and principles of a NURSE. After I talk to other nurses and friends students, I realize that working in an Hospital is very intense and the constantly diferencial shifts can become a problem because affects physically and mentally the health's professionals.

Already in the 2º year in University i decided to get out of the box and do a volunteer mission in Africa.I usually to travel a lot, I think this is my hobby and getaway to the stressful life in the city. Why Africa? Because is an under development continent witch lives people that don't had the same luck I had in children. In Portugal I had the resources to study and learn what i want. There, in countries like Angola or Mozambique, the children's reality is different.

If I can teach, care and help the people witch don't share the same luck i had in children while traveling... Well, my future profession become my hobby!

So, after some emails and lots of searching in the web i discover that in Portugal there are some ONG's, like RotaJovem, VIDA, Cáritas, ect... witch allows me to accomplish my dream. I talk to some associations and they say to do a volunteer mission, like I'm only university student of nursing, I have to pay 2050€

I already have 200€ in my piggy bank, so I already need 1850€ to live this experience

Please Help me to accomplish my FIRST DREAM!!!
