My name is Grace. I live in a small town in BC, and am looking to achieve my dream.
My dream of getting a horse started before I could even walk properly. My mother took riding lessons when I was two, she says to me now that even at that age when most kids can’t sit for five minutes without getting in to trouble she would sit me on top of a horse and I would stay staring at her without trying to get off or cry for the full hour that she was riding. My favorite toys were horses and ponies. We moved to Canada when I was four and we lived in a cabin for a while. The hoof prints of my plastic toy horses are still engraved in the window sill!
When I was ten my parents said that when I could lift a square bale then they would get me a horse! Little did they know I worked at that goal for years until I could lift one. Of course when I proudly showed them, they denied ever saying it. I also joined the local Pony Club and got riding lessons. I worked at getting my knowledge of horses larger and my riding better until now six years later I am now at C level!! I have lost all hope with my parents and decided to take matters into my own hands! Right now I am working on getting fence posts. For Christmas this year, all that is going to be on my list is electric fence posts and wire to fence our field in the spring.
Please help me to provide a good home to a horse that needs it!
