My First Short Film (Production Budget)

Hi, My name is Louis Goh Zhi Rui and i'm from Malaysia. I am a Wardrobe styling artist for film and tv drama in Malaysia. Film industry in Malaysia isn't very much supported by the government, due to the religion and the cultures we have in our country. I am a writer and art director as well, but not full time, it will be my very first Short film direct by myself and my filmmaker friends.

This story is not about fish, and it's not only bout tears. The fish and it's tears are just a metaphor for the message i'm bringing to the audience. This story is based on a true story, i saw her pain, i can feel her screaming from the inside.

This short film is a message to let the people know how's the life of a RAPE VICTIM. I was invited to a birthday celebration, in the party everyone seems to be so happy and having so much fun, but not her. She scratch her hand and rub her nose, i thought she was on drug but then only i know she was raped by a group of middle age man. People tells her "forget about it" "let it go" "Come on it's just a pass" "you're fine" "You're a feminism" "you're weak" "please be positive kay ?" "can you smile?".

In this short film i will let the audience feel how she feels. This is to draw the attention of the people who don't know and pretend to understand how they feel, and take this matter seriously. Be kind to one another.

We're still working hard to collect another half of the budget.
