My First Race Season in France

Hello all,  Thank you for taking the time to view my project.

Essentially I have been a cyclist racing in the UK for 2 years and in this time have become a sponsored rider for my local shop, Mammoth Lifestyle RT, and managed to gain my 1st Category license in this short time. 

Back in October 2014 I applied to a French Amateur Elite team, A.S. Corbeil-Essonnes Cyclisme, and thankfully was accepted to join them for the 2015 race season. This will entail travelling all around the country and many parts of Europe from March to September 2015 where we will take part in 3 UCI 1.2 races, the French cup and many regional races dotted around France and the UK including the Beaumont Trophy, Paris-Mantes and of course the British National Road Race Championships. I have aspirations of getting a top 20 result in the National Champs, and any result in a UCI race would of course be a dream come true. 

The sponsorship deal with the team is relatively significant as it includes the kit I wear, a lovely bike and most race expenses, where the team are concerned. However I will also need to live out there for the 8 month stretch, and this is where a little help would be appreciated.

I must train throughout the week to ensure that I do not let my teammates, or more importantly myself down, but without the all important CASH, it is difficult to eat, sleep, keep warm and be of course stay happy. If you could spare any funds for an aspiring cyclist it would be greatly appreciated.

I am new to the sport and at the age of 23 (on 30th Jan) I am too old for the likes of the Dave Rayner Fund. It is a dream to be in my position and I would be heartbroken to find that I wasted the opportunity due to funding.
