Fundraising for My Father’s Kidney Transplant

We would like to update and likewise thank you for your prayers ; financial supports for my father's battle for second life. That, we finally got the GO signal for my father's kidney transplant after thorough and numerous tests. This would be on January 16, 2019. He will be confined on January 14th. Hope we could still receive supports as we weren't able to qualify for the Z~Package from Philhealth worth 600KPhp. Thank you very much and God bless us all..

Dear Friends and Family,

My father, Jolorelle “Jojo” S. Rabanal, is currently suffering from End-Stage Renal Failure because of an inheritable condition called “Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease”. He was diagnosed at the age of 40 and even after years of maintaining a healthy lifestyle; having informed that he can live with it until the right age to leave our earthly bodies, his kidneys eventually failed..

Currently, he needs to be on Hemo-Dialysis for 4 hours at 3 times per week. This removes the toxic wastes from his body but only to a level where it is no longer fatal. As a result, his body has been deteriorating from these toxic wastes to the point where even physical activity became difficult and restricted for him. As explained by our doctors, he will continue to deteriorate and eventually develop multiple complications due to these uneliminated toxic wastes, and the only way to treat him and prevent further complications is to have a kidney transplant. If we proceed with the operation, he can even go back to work. He’s currently on medical leave awaiting kidney transplant and recovery.

We are blessed that we already found a kidney donor, but we are still in need of help. Most of our savings have already been spent on medications; series of laboratory tests & consultations needed for his operation. Being the youngest, I just started college and we are still supporting one of my sisters who’s currently studying in Canada. Fortunately, one of my brothers has been supporting our household needs, and he & my other brother will be graduating next year from BS Marine Transportation and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

The estimated amount of the operation is USD 17,209.30 (Php 925,000). We sincerely ask for your help for the second life of my father and for the future of my family. Thank you very much and God bless.
