The reason for starting to help others in need is simply to do something good to others as I was helped before by others. I was already able to save some lives of people in the Philippines that were not able to pay for their own hospital cost and medicine. I financed this from my own Dutch disablility income.

At his moment I am trying to raise money for our neighbors of Baybay, Maslog, Sibulan, Negros Oriental. They were kicked out of their houses by a member from the local government who tries to make a nice profit over their back. The people are very poor and try to make a living from fishing. They still managed to pay the yearly tax together and even applied for a landtitel since the sixties.

The property they lived on for over 3 generations was government property. Now the member of the local government managed to get the landtitel, and put it out for sale. A bigtime company owner and local government official was interrested in the property and deposited a large downpayment. His plans where to build a factory on that place.

After that the Phillippines elected a new president called Duterte. He actually was my neighbor for a few months in the subdivision Dona Luisa, Davao City. He and his daughter Sarah were known for their compassion with poor people. Sarah Duterte actually slapped a police chief in the face when he tried to kick people out of their homes and to demolish their homes. President Rody Duterte changed the law regarding those kind of actions against people. Meaning that a new owner has to offer a place to live for those people before kicking them out.

The election of Rody Duterte possibly scared the buyer of the property. He then visited the property where my neighbors were kicked out, and said I don't want the property like this. Like this he meant that the people who were kicked out now hat to live on the side of the road. This could attract a lot of problems from president Rody Duterte.

So now the property is empty and no buyers available.

Goal Number One

I want to buy that property and build social housing for my neighbors.

I will produce fishing boats and in return I will ask the people to keep the area clean and safe.

I do not ask large amounts of money from you, because we are in the process of selling a large family property. As soon as that is sold my wife Reniqueta and I will have enough to buy the property to start our project.

The only thing I need is that I can return to the Philippines to assist the family with the sale. I was without knowing a victim of the Philippine corruption and had to go out of the country. I applied and paid for a permanent visa in 2010, but was denied to stamp my passport. I have filed a case against the Philippine Immigration at the Philippine Ombudsman and is still processing.

In order to reunite with my wife and children and to finish the sale of our own property, I need to pay a pretty large amount of money to pay for the fees. I need a approximate 250.000 PHP about 5000 euro.

So that is what we are asking for, even a loan will be very welcome. If you have other suggestion that can help us reach our goal, then please feel free to contact us.
