My Ecuador Volunteer Trip

This August, I will be traveling to Quito, Ecuador with an organization called International Volunteer Headquarters to help make a positive impact through community development and youth enrichment.

I will be living and working in Quito for four weeks, helping a local NGO (Nongovernment Organization) to widen their reach by supporting youth in need within the community. The NGO focuses on outreach and play-based learning for street children, providing them with education, life skills, hygiene, and social development. Through hands on experience, I will support the day to day operations of the NGO by assisting with translations, record keeping, fundraising, grant writing, public relations, and more, while also interacting with the local children they serve.
