My Dad’s Brain Rehabilitation

I recently found out that an incident that occurred back in 1993 has only just started to cause damage to very important part of my Dad's brain. Over the past 24 years his brain has slowly started to deteriorate and weaken. My dad is very reduced and limited. The brain injury has effected his motor control, memory and speech. My dad is 50 years old and unfortunately he is very incapable of doing many things, he is in a wheel chair 24/7, his food is accessed via a nutrition pump and he has very minimal speech. My dad's memory is very limited and although he knows he has kids his mind is in a different year where his kids are still young, his mind can't comprehend that it is his daughter standing in front of him. I am 23 years old and with this shock I am not capable of funding the entire amount to allow my dad to visit a brain rehabilitation centre. My goal is to allow my dad to attend a rehabilitation centre 1-2 times a week to allow him to re-develop and train his brain. I love my dad dearly and what I want most in the world is for him to be able to learn and do some of the things he use to be able to do.
