My Daughter Jillian Love was diagnosed with Hydronephrosis of the left kidney and ectopic ureter. We have exhausted all our means to have her procedures and tests done. She have been in and out of the hospital for urinary track infections , which have in turn dried up our resources including her insurance. We were hoping for a little help. After extensive tests and Consultation with a Pedia-Urologist, she was diagnosed with ectopic ureter which results to her constant infection. The recommended treatment is to have her left kidney and left ureter removed to stop infections, and save the right kidney from further complications. Any help would do. After surgery

She has been vomiting the whole day and is still urinating blood. She is still crying from pain, but we are doi g everything to make her feel comfortable. Hopefully all goes better by tomorrow. God

Update posted by James Jacinto at 06:49 amSo far my Patootie is currently on prophylaxis to avoid any episode of infection. Her urine tests already improved from the last time. Her Pedia-nephro and Pedia-Urologist are just waiting for us to have the fund completed to have the surgery done. So far we have already raised Php 60,000
VCUG test result and treatment.

The specialist Pedia-Urologist have already told us that her left kidney would need to go for her right not to be affected by the constant infection. Update posted by James Jacinto at 07:52 amRenal scan confirms Hydronephrosis, she has a possible obstruction on the left kidney. The left kidney only functions at 11% and right at 89%. We will be discharged with continues medication of antibiotics for the UTI. She will be tested again on Wednesday for infection. Then scheduled for VCUG ASAP.. . . . .

Update posted by James Jacinto at 08:42 amShe is on a different type of antibiotics now for her infection. Once the infection is controlled, possibility of discharge tomorrow. We will schedule the next test (VCUG) at UST for the reflux test sa urine. From there the nephrologyst will give us the next course of action.
