My College Tuition at University of Wisonsin

I'm Marielle D. Daugherty, a sophomore student at the University of Wisconsin majoring in Economics and this incoming school year, I will need financial assistance in my tuition. Although I'm already currently working two part-time jobs, as a bartender and as a barista, and will be working full-time this summer, my savings will not be enough for me to enroll myself this September.

I come from a broken home, so it's only me and my mom who work together to send me to college. My mom is a high school graduate from Puerto Rico and is working so hard as a waitress full-time to support us two. She and my dad broke up when I was little and my father has not reached out since. I am very proud of my mom for raising me all on her own and for not having to ask for help from anyone. But seeing now that she's almost 47, it's really breaking my heart to see her work as hard as she does just to continue sending me to college. She's not getting any younger and she doesn't want me to stop college. She always says that she wants to send me to college because because she wish she had gotten a degree, then she would've found a better job to support me now.

I really do not know what to put here, to be completely honest. But if one thing's for sure, I will do my best in college and work my ass off as hard as I could for me and my mom's future and also as a way of showing gratitude and appreciation to those who will donate that their money will not be put to waste.
