13 of January is my birthday.
I'm a motorcycle enthusiast. I began riding since young. Now I'm turning 27 in a few months. In Singapore, to purchase and own a motorcycle is expensive. I'm earning 20k a year. I can't afford to buy myself, my forever elusive dream bike.
Since 18 years of age, I frequent the roads in search of a greater adventure. But was limited by 150cc bike I own. I didn't stop me. I travelled across the border on the north-south highway many times. Malacca, Port Dickson,Kuala Lumpur, Hatyai and many more to name a few.
All I ever wish was to own something to of my own. To travel the world. And I chosen BMW R1200 adventure as my vehicle to take me to my journey.
Like BMW Says: Make life a ride.
You like extreme and long tours? On rough roads, over stony tracks out in the wild, too? Tarmac, offroad, stones and sand: These are the challenges the new BMW R 1200 GS Adventure is longing to master with its easy and agile handling. A machine for those who want to test their limits and go beyond them. Or to put it briefly: A motorcycle for riders who are seeking real adventure and don't want to miss out on a great deal of riding pleasure in the process.
This is the link below to show how expensive to own one in Singapore. This excludes:
-10year certificate of entitlement ($6500)
-yearly roadtax ($200)
-yearly insurance ($600)
-petrol in Singapore is at $2.07 per litre
-there's tolls everywhere in Singapore
