Hi,
Please give me a minute of your time to explain what this cause is about.
My name is Jonathon and until last year i had a very good job as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver.
I was then made redundant for the fourth time in seven years.
Redundancy had never bothered me before as i always went out and got another job fairly easily as i am and always have been a hard worker.

This time however was different. I started to feel out of sorts and went to see my doctor who diagnosed me with severe depression. Strangely, once i knew what was wrong with me, it seemed to get worse and i ended up on medication and weekly visits to a Depression and Anxiety Therapist. My Heavy Goods Licence was suspended for obvious reasons which has left me in a dire financial situation.
I have two lovely dogs called Jupiter and Mars who were both rescued from hard times and without them i dont know if i could carry on with life. If my money doesnt stretch to food for me and the dogs then the dogs eat and i go hungry. They can't cope without food but i can for a few days at a time.
I am a proud man (i do not and never will claim state benefits) and it breaks my heart to ask for money from strangers but i am now in a desperate situation .
If you are in a position to be able to help i would be eternally gratefull.

Any small donation would help but a couple of thousand would be better (i might have fallen on hard times but i still have my sense of humour).
Seriously though, the smallest of amounts will help.
