My Bestfriend for 14 Years Needs Your Help for His Spine Surgery

Hello there!

Jayson Palado, my best friend since 5^th grade is set to undergo through is much awaited and much needed spine surgery.

Jayson has always been a good friend, an academic achiever, and an inspiration to many. But he is suffering from an 18-year old severe spine condition that crashes his vital organs causing him to experience life-debilitating ailments such as shortness of breath, back pain, fatigue, and even depression. Through the years, he endured this day-to-day condition which got even worse over time. He was very limited and that led him to be restrained from living a good quality life.

But his severe kyphoscoliosis did not stop my best friend from being taking responsibilities with regards to his family’s needs. As a matter of fact, he is the main contributor since both of his parents are now retired of working.

Last October 2021, we went to Philippine Orthopedic Center to have his spine checked since he was complaining about his backpain and breathlessness. This is when the doctor told him to undergo spine surgery. But things didn’t go smoothly as prayed since there were lots of obstacles that he went through. Just 2 months before his surgery, his mother was diagnosed with ovarian cyst and was rushed to the emergency to remove the cyst. His little savings was used up and he still doesn’t recover yet for his own surgery.

As his best friend, I cannot stay still and do nothing seeing him suffering daily. That’s why after waiting for almost 8 months, his surgery on June 28^th, I want to give him my full support in executing his dream operation since we were in 5^th grade. This fundraising will support Jayson for his medications and post-operation needs like physical therapy since he will be taking a break from working and no sufficient source of fund/earnings.
