My Autumn Appeal

I am raising funds to underwrite my overhead. My social justice ministry is growing. I work with youth-at-risk and help to serve the poor and those within the Hawaiian Community. I am presently working with an attorney to serve individuals who are in severe need of advocacy. Those who are marginalized and poor and who need access to justice and fairness. We have recently succeeded in overcoming legal challenges for two Micronesian youth who are now reunited with their families and children. One has become a well-known Sushi Chef and the other works two jobs to care for his wife and children. Others I assist have been able to stay in their homes, and still others have been weighed down by acts of injustice and corruption. Many a person are renewed in Faith and receive a second chance to prevail when they have an advocate who stands up, and speaks up, on their behalf.

"To bring light where there is darkness and hope where there is despair..." Our prayer life must be at the center of all our activity and a life lived with meaning and purpose is the best antidote to the struggles and temptations we all face which tempt us to become fatigued and depressed.

I have discovered that to bring hope to a person in need is the most profitable medicine for the soul. And, to help those who will help others is a gift that carries with it many blessings.

I pray for all those who help to enable me to succeed in my work. "Seek First the Kingdom of Heaven and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you."
