What am I raising money for?

In August of 2010, while being vain, and superficial I burnt myself using a depilatory (hair removal cream). I sorta... rue the day! Now a description although brief is pretty disgusting, but it burnt the top layer of skin off, and on that night caused a lot of pain (redness), and weeping. A week later I went to the doctor and he said that the skin had been infected, and that I needed to take a 10 day course of anti biotic to clear the infection, and apply Cortisone cream, to which I did with no real effect. the skin never really healed properly.

The area where the skinned burnt (my underarms) has never really healed, it is light in pigment, numb to the touch, and when the area is moist, the unhealed skin just peels off. as well as redness, and scarring in the outer area's. And, with walking, and the softened skin is causing the skin to chafe severely .I'm at a loss here, and not only is it embarrassing,  but the public system is failing me. We've discussed and I've been advised by my GP, that perhaps we should look at taking the "Private" route, I've tried every other option,  but I don't have the money to do this alone. I've been out of work and I couldn't get a job if I tried, and I have  people, without murmuring or people whispering as I walked out the door. Living interstate at the time I spent my savings seeking the right medical advice, and trying to survive with no income, and had to, in mid 2011, move in with my father. Two and a half years have passed me by ( I was 27 when I got this), and so I'm asking readers of this letter to please donate even the smallest... a dollar, OR... 20 it all counts and all would be appreciated

What's the plan?

I plan to contact every Specialist Dermatologist and book appointments to try get some answers. I'm currently pulling a list of emails together to send pics of the effected area to professionals, and specialists to see what they have to say. This has affected my life for too long, and I need to move on. Without your help, and the money to do this, I can't really see myself getting on, and the people around me just aren't prepared to help. I'm not asking for millions I just want my life back to normal, and maybe just a little miracle.

Dermatologist appt's  are about $180-$220 for first time appts, and surgery, if ever a possibility, I couldn't' tell you how much, but the plan is to get comprehensive health insurance to reduce any possible costs.
