That is the word that pops in my head when I am asked about my daughter, Jessica. She is a very mature, self-motivated, extraordinary 20 year-old young woman. I always knew her potential for greatness and she is realizing this, too. She is very passionate about animal rights and wants to be a part of making a difference in the way food animals are treated. This past semester she interned at the Humane Society; which had been a dream of hers for many years.
She came to me last December 2012 and said that she was chosen to go to Sydney, Australia for an International Internship/Study Abroad program in Environmental Sciences. She had already put most of her savings towards this endeavor and asked if I would help her with the rest. Of course, I said yes.
We have paid the fees for the program. Unfortunately, our family's income has taken a sudden downward spiral that has put this amazing young woman's goals in jeopardy. We are in need of funding for the plane tickets and spending money. As her mother I am sick to death at the thought that I may have to tell her she can't accomplish this. Please help my daughter get to Sydney, Australia this June 13, 2013. I know she is going to make a difference in this world. Thank you in advance! I will pay it forward! -Jessica's admirer (AKA:her mom)
