volunteering with children in Cape Town.

During April 2016 for two weeks I am volunteering in Cape Town with children. This is something I have always been passionate about doing as I want to feel like I've made some sort of difference In a child's life and I feel that it will be a big achievement. I'm always seeing these adverts on TV and it makes me sad seeing children suffering in a number of ways, my volunteering will involve being a positive role model for the children and helping them learn basic literature. I will also be assisting with the general daily care and support that some of these children sadly lack. I love working with children and am really excited for this new adventure! I have worked in a nursery setting with different age groups for just over 3 years, and even working with children in the UK you can see those who may not have as much as other families. This project will open up my eyes to how disadvantaged other places in the world are and will make me a lot more grateful for the resources I have to work with. I would greatly appreciate any donation, no matter how small as every donation helps! This money will help fund my volunteering and I will also be donating money to charities in South Africa to support children's learning as their resources are very limited. Thank you :)
